The Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking the Tula region from the sky, the “Carpet” plan has been introduced at the Kaluga airport

Residents of the Tula region reported hearing loud explosions in the sky. As noted by the SHOT Telegram channel, this was reported, in particular, by residents of the city of Aleksin.

Preliminary, the air defense system shoots down Ukrainian drones.

Mash specifies that there were approximately six explosions, after which there was a massive failure of cellular communications and the Internet. Incidentally, this was previously reported by residents of the Voronezh Region. There, against the backdrop of the danger of a drone attack, the authorities warned of possible temporary shutdowns of the mobile Internet "in connection with the development of the defense system" of the region.

There has been no official information about the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces yet, however, it is known that shortly before this, the governor of the Tula region, Dmitry Milyaev, warned about the danger of a UAV attack, asking local residents to remain calm.

It also became known about the restriction of the airport in Kaluga. According to the message of Rosaviatsia , the "Carpet" plan was introduced at the Grabtsevo airport (about 100 km from Tula). The air harbor is temporarily not accepting or sending flights.

Telegram channels previously wrote that this measure also affected the airports of Kubinka, Yermoolino and others located within a radius of 100 km from the city.
